Paralegal – Private Client Department
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time, permanent
George Ide LLP is a long-established, full-service law firm based in the heart of Chichester. We are proud of our reputation for providing high-quality legal advice with a personal touch, and we are now seeking an enthusiastic and organised Paralegal to join our respected Private Client department.
About the Role
You will work closely with our experienced solicitors and partners, supporting them in delivering a comprehensive range of private client services, including:
- Wills, trusts, and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters
- Tax and succession planning
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, executors, and other professionals
- Managing files, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with case progression
- Conducting legal research and preparing reports
- Providing excellent client care and administrative support throughout the process
About You
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with:
- Previous experience in a Private Client team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload
- A client-focused approach and genuine interest in this area of law
