Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions primarily focusing on lease extensions (including statutory and non-statutory matters), transfers of equity and associated residential conveyancing work as required, ensuring compliance of legal requirements, and providing exceptional services to clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to develop their career within property law and conveyancing practice.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
· Managing end to end conveyancing process for residential property transactions;
· Preparing, reviewing and lodging legal documents such as Contracts, Transfers, Deeds and Mortgage documentation;
· Liaising with clients and other Stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions;
· Conducting appropriate searches, enquiries and due diligence to ensure all legal requirements are met;
· Keeping clients informed on progress of their transactions and providing professional advice where necessary;
· Ensuring all documents comply with current legislation and internal policies; and
· Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and correspondence.
Experience
· Qualified Solicitor, Licence Conveyancer or Legal Executive (CILEx) with a proven experience in conveyancing and property law including Lease Extensions and Transfers of Equity;
· Strong organisation skill with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously;
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a professional approach to client service;
· Attention to detail with a high-level accuracy in document preparation and review;
· Familiarity with legal software and case management is advantageous, but not necessary; and
