Tony Goff recognised by APIL for brain injury claims work
George Ide LLP is proud to announce that Head of Personal Injury, Tony Goff, has been accepted as one of the first group of newly accredited brain injury claim specialists under the ‘grandfathering’ scheme set up by APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).
Tony’s role as an experienced brain injury solicitor, with a demonstrated competence in this field of litigation, has led to him being chosen as an assessor of solicitor applications for specialist APIL accreditation.
The scheme will recognise personal injury solicitors who have a proven track record in the specialist fields of brain injury and clinical negligence.
In order to be part of the ‘grandfathering’ scheme Tony’s body of work, which included brain and head injury cases, and other roles and undertakings in relevant fields, was automatically recognised by APIL and he will now go on to be part of the scheme to recognise other solicitors across the country who wish to be APIL accredited.
Gaining APIL accreditation offers consumers a quality mark of competence and specialist expertise in specific areas and demonstrates that a lawyer has achieved a particular standard – it is a benchmark of excellence.
Tony will begin his role as a grandfather assessor from October onwards, when the scheme opens to new applications from brain injury claim specialists.
He says of his new role, “I am honoured that my many years of helping numerous brain injury victims with their compensation claims has been acknowledged by APIL in this manner.”News
