Personal injuries news – Estate agent in Bristol raise money for rider training

25th July 2012

The deceased had been in his 40s when he suffered fatal personal injuries in a motorcycle accident in South Gloucestershire in June this year.

The estate agent’s branch manager stated, “When the team heard the news that one of our customers had been tragically killed in a motorbike accident, we decided to try and raise as much money as possible to promote motorcycle safety and bike awareness in the local area.”

The team of five, who will be raising money for South Gloucestershire Council’s Road Safety Team, has begun training for the half marathon which takes place on the 30th of September.

South Gloucestershire Council’s Road Safety Team runs motorbike training days. The extra funds will be used to provide further training for riders of motorcycles with larger and more powerful engines.

The hope is that with more advanced courses available, the number of serious injuries and fatalities caused in motorcycle accidents will reduce.
