Individuals riding tandem bike were killed in Bristol hit and run

29th January 2013

The couple, who were in their 30s, were apparently riding a tandem bicycle when the incident occurred.

Despite the driver failing to stop at the scene, a 38-year-old man later handed himself over to police.

A spokesperson for Great Western Ambulance Service stated that they had sent an ambulance, paramedics, and a rapid response vehicle to the scene, but upon arrival it was found that the lives of the two cyclists could not be saved.

Investigations are being undertaken into the events which could have led up to the collision.

If the families of the deceased wish to claim for the loss of their loved ones, they should contact an expert personal injury solicitor who could provide invaluable knowledge and expertise to help their hit and run case.
