Welsh family in inheritance dispute see family home destroyed
In his dismay and anger over allegedly being served an eviction notice by his brother, the man, who lived in the Cardiff home with his wife and six children, took a sledgehammer to the extended parts of the property which he had built with his own funds.
The family had spent seven years arguing over the terms of the Will, but now the £300,000 property has largely been reduced to rubble and is currently uninhabitable.
The matter is now firmly in the hands of the siblings’ solicitors, although local council members were called by neighbours who were concerned for their own safety, and the well-being of their own properties, as the house was reduced to rubble by the angry resident.
The police were also notified, but a spokesperson said it was a civil matter and no-one had been arrested as a result of the dispute.News
