Motorbike accident at vintage rally
As the motorcycles were being ridden between Reeth and Gunnerside, near Richmond in North Yorkshire, one of the vehicles flipped over. Other riders stopped to help after witnessing the incident.
A female pillion passenger was trapped beneath the bike. Fortunately, emergency services quickly arrived on the scene.
Initially the medical team believed the woman might have sustained serious leg injuries, however she escaped with only minor cuts and bruises.
It is thought that the bike overturned due to the gravel surface of the road still being wet from rain the previous day.
Anyone who has been involved in a non-fault road traffic accident as a motorbike rider or pillion passenger could make a compensation claim with the help of an expert motorcycle accident solicitor.
