Drunk, uninsured driver of a stolen car sentenced in court

According to a report on DoncasterFreePress, the man had taken a car without consent and was driving while almost twice over the legal limit for alcohol in the blood. He was also driving without insurance.

For these motoring offences the man was sentenced to undertake 120 hours of unpaid work in the community, under supervision, and he has been barred from driving for 17 months.

The offender was told that he could reduce the length of the driving ban by successfully completing an approved motoring course before January 13, 2014.

For driving while uninsured, the defendant received a fine of £150 and was ordered to pay £145 in costs.
