Young cyclist suffered critical injuries
The cycling accident, which occurred last Saturday, involved a 14-year-old boy and the 72-year-old driver of a Honda Jazz car.
The boy was air-lifted to Queen’s Medical Centre after the collision, with life-threatening injuries. The driver escaped without personal injury, but was understandably shaken by the incident.
Details about the circumstances which led to the incident have not been reported. However, if the motorist is found to have acted negligently behind the wheel, leading to the cycling accident, they may be liable to pay compensation if the child’s family launch a claim on his behalf.
Anyone who has sustained a non-fault bike accident which has caused them pain, suffering, or resulted in lost earnings, should contact an expert personal injury solicitor.
They could be eligible to receive remuneration from the person, group, company, or organisation responsible for their accident.
